Explosion-proof doors for refuge chambers are used between the transition room and the survival room in underground refuge chambers in coal mines. They protect the safety of personnel inside the chamber (a set of two doors). They open outwards and serve to be waterproof, fireproof, and shockwave-proof.
The door of the sealed room of the refuge cave has a door leaf and a door frame made of flat steel plates, stiffened plates, shaped steel, etc.; the locking mechanism adopts a double-channel tight lock; the door pivot adopts a thrust ball bearing for easy opening.
Safety is always our top priority in any interest. When we are familiar with all emergency measures and precautions, we can reduce the risk factor.
Precautions for sealed doors in refuge chambers
1. Before entering the refuge chamber, first check whether there is anyone in the transition chamber through the observation window on the fireproof sealed door. If someone is washing air, after they finish washing and enter the survival chamber and close the door of the survival chamber, the escape personnel outside the chamber will then open the door of the transition chamber and enter the transition chamber for air washing.
2. The number of people in each gas cleaning session should not exceed 8.
3. When the refuge chamber is operating normally, the CO2 auxiliary chamber door should be closed.
4. There are 4 compressed air and oxygen supply outlets in the chamber using compressed air and oxygen supply, all of which need to be opened.
5. Use O2 for oxygen supply. When the O2 sensor shows that the O2 concentration is lower than 18.5% or higher than 23%, you can slowly rotate the knob of the O2 flow meter to adjust the O2 concentration in the chamber.
6. The self-rescuer can only be removed when the concentrations of O2, CO and CO2 in the survival chamber reach the safety concentrations required for human breathing, with O2 concentration of 18.5%, CO concentration less than 24ppm and CO2 concentration less than 1%.
7. In the case of compressed air being destroyed, at least one of the temperature control valves TCV-1, 2, 3, and 4 is always in a fully open state. When the temperature, humidity, CO concentration, and CO2 concentration in the survival chamber are within a safe range, the number of temperature control valves TCV-1, 2, 3, and 4 opened can be reduced according to actual conditions.
8. When the CO2 pressure is less than 600 PSI and the filtration, dehumidification and cooling integrated device cannot operate normally, open the emergency gas bypass system control valve to extend the device operating time.
9. When the CO2 concentration in the survival chamber cannot be reduced to below 1%, or the adsorbent color turns light purple, replace the CO2 adsorbent.
10. The groove mark should be consistent with the adsorbent mark CO to ensure that the adsorbent is placed in the correct groove. Do not replace or remove the CO adsorbent once it is filled and placed. When the CO concentration in the survival chamber cannot be reduced to below 24 ppm, replace the CO adsorbent.
