The mining-specific ratchet securing device is an innovative equipment designed exclusively for mining transportation. It is mainly used to replace traditional strapping materials, achieving rapid securing and anti-detachment protection of mine cart cargo through a mechanical structure.
1. Working principle
Chain link interlocking fixation
Special chains are welded to both sides of the mine cart. The hook of the vehicle securing device is placed between the chain links. The mechanical force generated by the interlocking of the chain links jams the hook, forming a rigid constraint, effectively preventing cargo from loosening or falling off during transportation.
Ratchet tightening mechanism
The chain or steel cable is tightened by rotating the handle, which drives a ratchet mechanism. The unidirectional engagement design of the internal pawl and ratchet ensures continuous locking of the tension, preventing backsliding. During operation, you only need to reciprocate the handle to gradually tighten it. The lock can be released using the release device.
2. Core Advantages
Safety Improvement
The ratchet and hook made of high-strength alloy steel (such as CR12MoV) have a hardness of HRC58-62 after heat treatment, offering wear resistance and impact resistance; the interlocking force design can withstand loads from 5 tons to 20 tons (common specifications: 5T/10T/15T/20T), which is much higher than the strength of traditional wire rope, significantly reducing the risk of detachment.
Economical and Efficient
Reduce Costs: Can be reused thousands of times, replacing disposable wire/steel rope, saving bundling material costs in the long run;
Efficiency Optimization: A single person can complete the sealing in 2-3 minutes, achieving an efficiency improvement of over 70% compared to the traditional method (approximately 25 minutes).
Easy to operate
No complex tools are needed; tightening is completed by turning the handle after the hook snaps into the link; some models support a 360° rotating handle, adapting to operations in narrow spaces.
