10KV High Voltage Junction Box Product Introduction

The 10KV high-voltage junction box is suitable for mines with a mixture of explosive gases (methane) and coal dust. It is used in coal mine underground power supply systems with a voltage up to 10 kilovolts and a rated breaking current up to 12.5KA, for connecting two sections of mining cables.

The flameproof shell of the 10KV high-voltage junction box is a steel plate structure, and the cover adopts a bolt crimping form. There are power lead terminals on both sides, and a control line introduction device is provided. There are three main terminals in the housing, and the cable heads are crimped with pressure plates on the terminal posts. The base is made of high-voltage electrical porcelain and is equipped with an auxiliary terminal block.

Product Features of 10KV High Voltage Junction Box

1. The junction box is mainly composed of an explosion-proof enclosure (shell, cover), an insulating terminal block, a cable entry device, and internal and external grounding, etc.;

2. The casing and cover are connected by fasteners such as bolts through a planar explosion-proof surface;

3. The terminal block is made of high-purity clay pressed, sintered and glazed, and has excellent electrical insulation properties.

1. After unpacking the junction box, check whether there is any damage and whether there are any missing parts.

2. It is strictly forbidden to operate the 10KV high-voltage junction box while it is energized. Operation must be carried out in accordance with the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations". The installation of the cable must strictly follow the installation process and can be performed underground. For the specific installation process, please refer to the manual of the "BHG1-400/10-2G Mine Explosion-proof High-Voltage Cable Junction Box".

3. Special reminder: The cable entry part should be filled with epoxy resin during installation. The inspection of the 10KV high-voltage junction box should be carried out simultaneously with the cable. If the temperature exceeds 80℃, the cause should be immediately investigated and resolved. During inspection, check whether the fasteners and warning signs are complete.
