GLW series reciprocating coal feeders are used in coal mines and coal preparation plants to evenly discharge raw coal or clean coal from coal bunkers and coal storage hoppers and transfer them to transportation equipment, or directly unload them onto screening equipment or other coal preparation equipment.

The reciprocating coal feeder is mainly composed of a hopper, a box, a gate, a bottom plate, rollers, a drive device, etc. The rollers are used to support the bottom plate, which is driven by the drive device and performs regular reciprocating linear motion on the rollers. The movement of the bottom plate in the direction of the coal flow is called forward movement, and the movement of the bottom plate against the direction of the coal flow is called reverse movement. When the bottom plate is in forward movement, the coal in the coal bunker and the coal feeder box is transported to the front end of the box. When the bottom plate is in reverse movement, the coal in the box is blocked by the inclined plate at the rear of the box, and relative sliding occurs between the bottom plate and the coal. The coal at the front end of the box falls down by itself. As a result of the reciprocating motion of the bottom plate, continuous and uniform feeding is achieved. This is the working principle of the reciprocating coal feeder.
